Building better citizens

for a brighter tomorrow

Our Core Values…

Integrity first

An Airman is a person of integrity, courage and conviction. They must be willing to control their impulses and exercise courage, honesty and accountability in order to do what is right even when no one is looking.

service before self

An Airman’s professional duties take precedence over personal desires. Every Airman is expected to have the discipline to follow rules, exhibit self-control and possess respect for the beliefs, authority and worth of others.

excellence in all we do

An Airman strives for continual improvement in self and service in order to propel the Air Force further and to achieve greater accomplishment and performance for themselves and their community.

We are invoved in a wide variety of activities and competition

Drill Teams, Vex Robotics, Aviation Club, Marksmanship Team, Rocketry Competition (TARC), Leadership and Academic Bowl, and Cyber Patriot.

These programs are expensive to to set up and run – so your donations are needed to enable our students the opportunity to participate.

DRILL TEAMS

Precision and teamwork

Our drill teams continue to excel each year. We normally compete several times a year in Utah and the Las Vegas area. Our Color Guard has been State Champions 4 years in a row!

There is a team for everyone in AFJROTC.

Ceremony

Honor Guard

We support the local American Legion in their respectful ceremonies. We work with many more local patriotic organizations to include Daughters and Sons of the American Revelation, Marine Corps League, United We Pledge, and other community organizations.

The community is very appreciative for our service.

tEAMS

Marksmanship is one of our teams that has the opportunity to qualify for National Competitons each year. In 2022/23 our Vex Robotics team qualified for the Worlds Championships in Dallas, Texas and earned honors making it to their divisions semi-finals.

Physical Competitions

We host an annual Obstacle Course Challenge and participate in several physical competitions. Every student also gets to participate in our weekly Wellness Program.

Our flight scholarships

Cadets have earned flight scholarships for the past 5 years that pay for 100% of a pilots license. Last year Dixie HS had 5 recipients. This scholarship is valued at over $25k.

Trips

We do several multi day trips each year and all have an active learning objective (along with having fun). This past year we had over a dozen trips including overnight trips to Bryce Canyon, SLC, Layton, Taylorsville, Southern CA, and Cathedral George.
